Condolences
Thinking of Estelle, caring, considerate, intelligent, kindness, loving, understanding, and generous come to mind. I consider myself blessed to have her in my life and call her family.
While working for the local school district in Cave Creek AZ, I was fortunate to meet this kind, caring, humorous, outspoken New Yorker Estelle.. I loved talking with her and listening to stories of New York, her family, and being Italian.
One day we were invited to Estelle & Joe's home, I told my hubby Junior he should have a snack before we left, as I knew Estelle would be preparing something for their Sunday dinner. Oh coarse he said no, no, I won't be hungry. Well an hour after we arrived there is Junior sitting across from Estelle, looking mighty hungry while she prepared spaghetti & meatballs. Of course Estelle was gracious and offered him a plate and he enjoyed every bite.
We enjoyed many days and evening with them, creating special memories. All our Love and continued prayers.
The Lord has gained a most special angel.
Love, Junior and Sis
I first met Estelle at her home in Brooklyn while Joe and I were trying to photograph the approximately 8000 costume pieces we had purchased from a defunct costume house. We took over the living room and dining room completely and she handled our making the rooms, not only unusable, but practically non navigable, with patience and grace. A lovely lady who will be greatly missed.
I met Estelle at her son's fashion show. I stepped off the elevator and she greeted me with, "Are you a friend of Joey's?" and then whispered, "They have CHAMPAGNE. GET SOME." She and her husband were so supportive that night and left me with such a warm feeling. I'm sad for Joe and his entire family as losing the mother in a close knit family is impossibly difficult. I wish them all strength in the upcoming months and years, to stay together as a family. May she rest in peace.
Estelle and I met in 1965 and have been friends ever since. Through the years we shared many fun times and memories together for which I am grateful and will always treasure. There are not many people you will consider a lifelong friend, she will always be that to me. Thank you for being a part of my life.
Rest in Peace My Forever Friend.
Love You Always,
Roseann
From the moment I moved into Clearbrook 4 years ago, Joe and Estelle were ready to help, always there with veggies from their garden and was always making me feel so welcome.
I will miss seeing you neighbor, my heart aches for your family and friends who will miss you everyday,
Rest in sweet peace.
Lisa

Estelle and I met at New Utrecht High School. We attended each others weddings and rode the subway when we worked in the city. We laughed all the way to work and I have one of my favorite memories of riding the subway with her. Although miles kept us apart we remained fb friends and I am heartbroken to hear this news. Thank you, my friend, for being a part of my life I will treasure always
RIP IN PEACE MY FRIEND

Dear Aunt Estelle
You were a very special and beautiful lady
I remember when you got me my job at Lehman Brothers, and we took the train together to get there. Riding in your tiny red Honda civic in the winter with our full length shearling coats that were so hard to fit in the car.
I will miss you.
Love always, Marilyn
