Obituary of Arthur Barry

Arthur S. Barry, 76, of Freehold Twp., passed away at home on Thursday, December 30, 2010. Mr. Barry was born in Brooklyn, NY, and lived in Nyack, NY, before moving to Freehold Twp. six years ago. He was an Advertising Sales Contractor with A.S. Barry & Associates Inc., Nyack, NY. Arthur was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald and Leonard Barry. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Florence, of Freehold Twp.; 2 sons, Stephen Barry and his wife, Susan of Thornton, CO, and David Barry of Piermont, NY; a daughter, Gail Hughes of York, PA; 3 grandchildren, William Hughes, Jillian Hughes and Christopher Barry; two sisters-in-law: Nancy Barry of Huntington, NY and Mildred Barry of Sparta, NJ, and many nieces and nephews. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp., on Sunday, January 2, 2011, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, January 3, 2011, at 12:00 Noon for his Rite of Committal followed by his 1:00 PM Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold, NJ.
