Condolences
There are no words to express the sadness in our hearts upon hearing the news that our dear friend Art had passed away. Art was a great friend of ours for over thirty years. Each time he came our way, we looked forward to his pleasant smile and warm embrace. He was well respected all throughout the community. Flags flew when Captain Barry's son Art was coming to town. He came bearing gifts for everyone. He knew just what to bring - some rum for the men and cigarettes for the ladies. As we look through the pictures, it is evident the kind of man he was - a loving husband to his wife Flo, a caring father to his children and an outstanding Grandfather to his grandchildren. It is so very sad that Art has passed away but we hope that the fine qualities that Art possessed have been passed on to his children and grandchildren. This would be a wonderful gift for all mankind. We will miss him dearly but we have many fond & loving memories of the time he spent with us. To his family whom he has left behind we want to say that we know your hearts are breaking with grief but you have been very lucky to have had such a fine man in your lives all these years. Many friends enter our lives in a lifetime but few leave such large footprints in our hearts. Art, you did just that. YOU WILL BE FOREVER MISSED. Love to all from Eugene & Bev Kane and family in Renews, Newfoundland, Canada
