Each time I pass Georgia Tavern Road, I think of him & all the wonderful memories we had over all those years. I still miss him & always will. I hope you are all well. May G_d bless you all and may Peter RIP.....All the best Regards, Herb Bernstein
A remembrance of my friend Pete. I have known Pete for over 25 years. During this time he cut my hair and provided me with stimulating conversation. Much of this was about his success or lack of success with racetrack endeavors. He loved his grand children and had their group picture in a prominent position on the counter in front of his barber chair. I had the privilege of spending some time with Pete outside the barber shop. Back about 10 years ago I would see Pete at Freehold Raceway in the evenings. I would sit with him and his friends and analyze the horses running at the various tracks around the country. When he broke his ankle, I would help him by placing his bets for him. Pete was an aggressive bettor and some of his combination bets were unfamiliar to me. So I was concerned that if I made an error in betting, I might cost him a win. Fortunately this never happened. Pete was a great guy, fun to be with and an excellent barber. I will miss him. Pete's friend, John Mickiewicz

Our deepest sympathy to my Aunt Sandy, Cousin Peter, Danielle and their families during most difficult time of their lives. Uncle Peter was a wonderful man and brought laughter and joy to everyone he met. I will always remember how much he loved to tell a good joke and had many to share with those he loved. My fondest memories of Uncle Peter are during the days when was a Barber on Green Street in Iselin because as a child I got to see him everyday and no matter how busy he was he always made time for me and made me laugh. One day after many attempts and only as little girls can I convinced him that my Mom, his sister said it was ok to cut my locks that flowed to the bottom of my back. Extremely happy with my new hairdo and freedom from constant brushing I ran up stairs to show my Mom who didn't exactly share in my joy or my Uncle's creation. As a sat in the backyard on the swing set to ponder what I did, and my hair no longer swept freely in the wind, it was Uncle Peter who once again came to the rescue and made me laugh. Thanks for all the wonderful childhood memories! Rest in peace we know you'll continue to watch over us. Love Lisa and Mike Alves

I work with Brian and know what a devoted father and husband he is to his family. My father also served as a captain in the army during the Korean War, an experience that shaped his life, and therefore ours. Mr. Cavezza was obviously a great influence in the lives of those he touched. Our family will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers. God bless him and thanks to Mr. Cavezza and his family for his service to our country. May you have peace at this difficult time.
I never met Peter, but I do work with his son-in-law, Brian Sullivan. In reading his obituary I sensed a man who lived a full life, raised a large and loving family and served his country and us with honor. My thoughts and prayers are with Peter's family during this time of loss. Regards, Lou Torres
