Obituary of Virginia Howlett

Virginia Howlett, 96, of Howell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Virginia was born in Orange, NJ before settling in Howell in 1966. She was a homemaker who was generous with her time volunteering for Meals on Wheels and the VNA Thrift Store. Virginia was a 75 year member of the Order of Eastern Star, and also a member of the Orange Valley Presbyterian Church and the Howell Senior Center. She faithfully attended Wall United Methodist Church, Spring Lake. Virginia was predeceased by her husband, Stanley B. Howlett in 1984. She is survived by three sons, Doug Howlett and his wife, Pat of Howell, David Howlett and his wife, Patricia of Fairlawn and Warren Howlett of Freehold; one daughter, Ginger Doyle and her husband, Paul; five grandchildren, Jason Howlett and his wife, Jeanne, Scott Howlett and his wife, Robyn, Ryan Howlett and his wife, Jodi; Kelly Doyle and Kacie Doyle; and seven great grandchildren, Rylee, Grant, Jacob, Jackson, Alexande, Nikolas and Thomas. Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Monday, February 17, 2014. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union Township.
