Obituary of Virginia Birdsall

VIRGINIA M. BIRDSALL, 92, of Ulster, Pa., formerly of the Ardena section of HOWELL, died Wednesday, March 12, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Ulster. Mrs. Birdsall was born in Wall and was a lifelong Howell resident before moving to Ulster. She was a member of the Adelphia Fire Company and the Ladies Auxiliary, Howell. She also enjoyed crocheting and reading. She was formerly employed by several manufacturers in the Freehold area. She was predeceased by her husband, Millard V. Birdsall Sr., in 1998. Surviving are her son Millard "Dick" V. Birdsall Jr. and his wife Florence of Ulster; a daughter, Marion Johnson of Freehold; a sister, Katherine Elizabeth Martin of Knox, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Route 524, Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
