Obituary of AnnaMarie Canzoneri

ANNAMARIE CANZONERI, 96, of HOWELL, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Mrs. Canzoneri was born and raised in Passaic and had lived in Astoria, Queens, Massapequa, N.Y. and Hudson Manor, Freehold, until settling to Howell in 2007. She was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Freehold. She was a seamstress for the I.L.G.W.U., Long Island City, N.Y., retiring in 1981. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, in 1977; and a sister, Josephine Castiglia, in 2006. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Ann Marie and John Derpich of Millstone Township; three granddaughters, Christine Loizos of Freehold Township, Jennifer Strickland of Clarksburg, and Michelle Derpich of Millstone Township; and two sisters, Eleanor Kasenchar of Clifton, and Gloria Stacy of Passaic. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends may gather at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal, followed by her 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, McLean Street, Freehold. Interment to follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold.
