Obituary of Janet Irene Pavlinic

Janet Irene Pavlinic, 72, of Whiting passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 in Whiting, NJ. She was born in Elizabeth City, raised in Linden, and lived in Laurence Harbor, Waretown, and Freehold before settling in Whiting in 2022. Janet was devoted to her family and was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She worked alongside her late husband, Stan, for over 25 years as co-owner for their company, Central Jersey Copy Inc. Janet had a passion for collecting and was a dedicated DIY’er, creating countless art projects in her free time. A lifelong animal lover, Janet rescued countless animals of all kinds throughout her life while still supporting Polycystic Kidney and Liver Fundraising walks, proving her selfless nature. With a remarkable ability to find beauty in everything, she was always there to listen, comfort, and bring humor into various situations. Some of her most beloved moments were family gatherings at both the Jersey Shore and Clearwater Beach. She valued her relationships with everyone and kept in touch with so many through parties and social media. Janet also found joy in cooking, creating recipes in the kitchen, and who could forget her love for Brie cheese! Her life was filled with joy and all were inspired by her mental toughness and ability to persevere, even in the face of life's challenges. Above all, she believed that love was the key to the universe.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stan Pavlinic; and parents, George and Irene Modrak. Janet is survived by her children, Nicole Eubanks and her husband, Christian of Colorado, Michael Pavlinic and his wife, Alyssa of Freehold, and Dominic Pavlinic and his wife, Anastasia of Florida; grandchildren, Taylor Eubanks, Kaylee Eubanks, Milana Pavlinic, and Colton Pavlinic; siblings, Dee Maresco and her husband, Fred, and Michael Modrak and his wife, Antoinette; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM burial in Steelmantown Cemetery, 101 Steelmantown Road, Steelmantown, New Jersey 08270. For those that are attending, it will be a green service, so please be prepared for the natural aspects of the services.
