Condolences
John, Clayton and families, my sincere condolences on the loss of your brother. I remember good times at your old house on Howell Road. I recall spending many Christmas Eves with your family. If my memory is correct, I believe our parents met through Church and were good friends back in the day. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Growing up on the other side of Howell Station Road, (Five Points), as kids I remember going up to Pete's grandparents farm and swinging on the rope dropping in the hay. I banged my knee and had to ride my bike back with one leg operational on Okerson the wash-board road, I also remember living next to the potato field that your dad plowed and when your dad with you and John in the truck came after us for tearing up the drive next to the field while we were learn to drive. It was long ago, but I still have good memories of Jerseyville. Rest in Peace, Pete.

My heartfelt sympathy to Betty and Family.
Pete and I are friends from birth. I loved our talks and reminiscing about our families. I will miss him and his bigger than life presence very much.
Rest in Peace my dear friend!
P. S. I stand corrected, Betty said she was pregnant with Brian when Pete and I brought home the buck he had killed. So sorry, Brian! After Judy thought about it more, she remembered Betty being pregnant with Peter when we all lived in Parker Apartments.
Condolences To The Forman Family
Rip Our Good Friend Pete
Dearest Betty, Peter, Brian and families,
Our deepest heartfelt sympathy is with all of the Forman Family as you mourn the loss of the incredible man we all loved so much.
The enduring friendship between Betty, Pete, Kenny and I has lasted over 54 years when Betty and Pete moved into Parker Apartments in Freehold after they were married in 1970. Kenny and I had moved there two years earlier after we were married in 1968.
We’ve had so many memorable times together. Some wonderfully happy, fun times and others sharing each other’s losses.
Pete was one of the hardest working family men we’ve ever known. He put in long, very physically demanding hours farming with his family. That, and his upbringing by a very loving family, made him the loyal and loving son, husband, father, grandfather and dear friend we were all blessed to have in our lives. Betty and Pete are also our son, Kenneth’s, Godparents.
Until we meet again our friend.
With love, Judy, Kenny and Family
What can I say about Pete Forman? Pete was more like my brother than a friend. We had so much fun together whether it was the four of us or just Pete and me. A favorite for the four of us on the Point Pleasant boardwalk was the cages that you stand in and rock back and forth until they begin going over and over. Or just being goofy together.
Am I allowed to tell two stories? Back in about 1971, I was trying to talk Pete into being a police officer with me on the Borough Police Department. His father got wind of it, sat me down in his living room and laid the law down to me! So that night, Pete decided to continue being a farmer instead of a police officer. Thank God because I don’t think I would have made it out of the house alive.
Once, I talked Pete into going deer hunting with me. I took him out and built a stand. When my buddies got him in the stand, I went to my stand. At about 7:10 AM I hear a shot. It’s coming from Pete’s area. All of a sudden, I hear Pete screaming like a banty rooster. He was so excited he comes running to my stand, which was the best time to hunt of course. He was screaming and yelling, I got it, I got it! I told Pete to go back to his stand and give me an hour. He said we’re going now. Within five minutes it started raining, so I walked up to his buck which was a spike and Pete’s first buck. He was so excited we took it to his home on Prospect Place. He backs the truck up to the front door and Betty answers the door. As Pete and I held the head up, Betty says, that’s a nice buck Pete - I’m pregnant!! Pete jumped off the truck and grabbed onto Betty. He was so excited. We’re talking about you young Pete.
I’ll miss you, buddy. I love you, Kenny.
So very sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Forman. Sending sincere condolences and strength to the Forman family and friends. Love, Megan (Conover) Boszko
