Obituary of Wendy Weiner
Wendy Weiner, 83, of Freehold, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at her residence. She was born and raised in Brooklyn and had lived in Staten Island and Howell before settling in Freehold in 2021. Before her retirement she was a beloved Nail Tech at the Unisex Salon in the Staten Island Mall. Wendy was known for always keeping her nails perfectly manicured. In her free time, she could be found watching her favorite soap opera, General Hospital, and creating beautiful family heirlooms through knitting and crocheting. She had a talent for crafting and her creations will be treasured by her family for generations to come. Wendy's life was filled with many highlights, including marrying her high school sweetheart, Alan. She cherished her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Wendy was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Clara Cohen; sister, Arlene Berlin. She is survived by her husband, Alan Weiner of Freehold; daughter, Shari Fischler and her husband, Kenneth of Manalapan; two granddaughters, Heather Hilferty and her husband , William of Manalapan and Jennifer Fischler of Neptune City; two great grandchildren, Matthew and Carlee and her faithful companion, Sadie.
