Obituary of Susan M. Godfrey

Susan M. Godfrey, 80, of Howell passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at home surrounded by family. She was born and raised in Linden, lived in Iselin, and settled in Howell in 2006. Susan enjoyed the beach, especially Wildwood and the Jersey Shore, and going to Atlantic City. Above all, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother and great grandmother.

She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Adelaide Staab; brother, Buddy Staab; and sister, Gladys Vasilantone. Susan is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Arthur Godfrey; children, Michael Baliya, Jim Baliya and his wife, Jackie, Maria Ramoundos, and Kathleen Stiles and her husband, Mike; grandchildren, Christopher Baliya and his wife, Lauren, Stephanie Baliya, Gray Baliya, Eric Baliya, Sophia Rivera, Mikalee Baliya, Michael Rivera, Rosalind Stiles, and Michael Stiles; great granddaughter, Charlotte; and loving canine companion, Daisy.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment will be private.
