Obituary of Joan Yaiser
Joan Ann Yaiser
March 4, 1937 – December 4, 2024
Joan Ann Yaiser, 87, of Freehold, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday,
December 4, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. Born in Jersey City, Joan
cherished her roots and treasured the memories of her beloved Polish family, whose
traditions and love shaped her life. It was in Jersey City where she met the love of her
life, Charles J. Yaiser, with whom she shared over 70 wonderful years of marriage.
Together, settling their roots in Jackson, NJ, Joan and Charles built a beautiful life,
raising five children: Debra Lipski and her husband, Ray, of North Hanover; Gail Murray
and her husband, George, of Manalapan; Laurie Yaiser of Pittsgrove; Tamara Yaiser
and her fiancé, Lee Dean III, of Freehold; and Duane Yaiser and his wife, Katherine, of
Freehold. She was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren: George Murray III;
Janine Knapp and her husband, Doug; Ray Lipski and his wife, Yulya; Bryan Lipski; and
Tara Koester and her husband, Brandon. Her legacy continues through her five great-
grandchildren: Logan Knapp, Lucas Knapp, Dexton Koester, Carter Koester, and
Veronika Lipski.
Joan was a vibrant, industrious woman who wore many hats as a devoted wife,
nurturing mother, and loyal friend. She was always present for the people she loved,
offering wisdom, support, and laughter.
A lifelong learner, Joan was an avid reader with a passion for knowledge and
spirituality, which she shared with her husband. She was also a talented artist and
craftswoman who excelled in oil painting, embroidery, and crewel work, creating
cherished keepsakes for her family. Joan’s love for the arts extended to the stage,
where she and her husband participated in local theater productions, including Some
Like It Hot and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
Joan began her professional career later in life, after raising her family. She returned to
school to study computer programming and system design, becoming an analyst.
Alongside her husband, Joan co-founded All American Consulting Services, working
with their family as consultants in the pharmaceutical industry. She later worked at Bell
Labs in Holmdel and ended her career with the State of New Jersey Judiciary System
as an analyst and trainer, retiring in 2003.
Joan’s warmth, determination, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who
knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a Funeral Mass on Thursday,
December 12, 2024, at 10:30 AM at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61
