Obituary of Louis Joseph Lufrano

Louis Joseph Lufrano, 88, of Monroe passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. He was born and raised in Staten Island, lived in the Bronx, and settled in Monroe, New Jersey in 2012. Louis served his country proudly in the United States Army and then went on to work as “Lou the Alarm Man” and then as an electrician for many years. He enjoyed gardening, bowling, and billiards. Louis frequently traveled to the Caribbean Islands and could often be found cheering on the Yankees and Giants.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Connie Lufrano; daughter, Lauren Lufrano; son, Gary Lufrano; and brother, Robert Lufrano. Louis is survived by his sons, Christopher Lufrano and his wife, Yolanda of Illinois, and Kenneth Lufrano and his wife, Felicia of Staten Island; and grandchildren, Joseph, Gabriela, Jessica, and Nicholas.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, US-1 North, Iselin.
