Condolences
It saddened me to just hear the news of Richard's passing. Although we have not seen each other in many years, he was always in my thoughts. Growing up we had many great memories. Going to his house in Colonia on Sundays and playing baseball in the field with Mark down the street while our parents hung out will never be forgotten. It made the week. The only thing better, was the first 2 weeks of August every year spending time at the Hi Lili.
Rest in Peace, Richard.
I'm overwhelmed to hear of Richard's death. I was one of his many Martial Arts students and a cousin by marriage.
My heart goes out ot Maria and all her and Richard's families.

We became best friends in Nursery School. You'd have to be an actual Lanza to go back further with Ricky than me. We just had to run through two small backyards and jump two short fences and we were at each other's house in less than 15 secs. The majority of our growing up experiences were experienced together and my childhood wouldn't have been nearly as much fun without him. My heart is broken, but my memories of our early years together are not. Rest in peace, my friend.

My memories of Richard started the day he came home from the hospital. I had wanted a sister but soon realized he was pretty ok! Growing up Richard, Mark and I were very close, many great memories with our parents. When I met my husband both Richard and Mark told me I had to marry him,the love affair started there,we did so many things together, numerous vacations, and just as many ordinary moments. Holidays were always Special.we truly loved being together. It is impossible for me to see my life without him in it. I will Love him and Miss him Forever.
Rich and I spent a lot of good times together when the kids were growing up. We had great vacations and always had a good laugh together. Holidays were always special to Rich . Rich was a brother to me that I never had . I will miss you and the good times . rest in peace Uncle Rich , Uncle Frank
My heart goes out to Rich's family and friends. I worked with him these last 2 years, and we always called each other "neighbor" since we live in the same development in Manalapan. He was a terrific guy and friend and will be sorely missed by so many. God has a plan for him, take comfort in knowing that he is in a peaceful place looking over all of you.
I’m so sorry to hear about Rich. We were in the same martial arts class together in the 80’s . I went on to open gyms, while Rich and Maria both earned their Black Belts and went on to open a martial arts school. Sending my deepest sympathies to Maria, Nicole, Richard and the rest of the Lanza family. RIP Rich you will be missed.
Many wonderful memories from our high school days. Good to see you lived a full life with many accomplishments. My sincerest condolences to the Lanza family ❤️
RIP - You taught my son’s so many life skills in karate.
I will keep all the Lanza family in my prayers.
My condolences to the Lanza Family. I worked with Rich for almost 10 years at Hatteras. He was a great guy and a hard worker. We would talk about Guitars everyday at work. Sometimes he would bring his Guitar in and we would play during lunch. I'm truly going to miss those talks and lunch time Guitar Jams. Rest easy Rich. We miss you. The Wide Format Department loves ya'.
Mr Lanza will be extremely missed by the entire Howell Fury family. He was like our team Grandpa cheering on each one the boys with pure excitement! Our games will definitely not be the same without him.
RIP Mr Lanza and I know you will continue to cheer on the boys from above.
My dad is also going to miss talking with you! He always enjoyed chatting with you at the games, too!
