Obituary of Jean Profeta

Jean Profeta, 81, of Farmingdale passed away at Whiting Gardens on Saturday, September 21, 2024.  She was born, raised and had lived in Brooklyn.  Jean had lived in the Tottenville section of Staten Island, NY and Tinton Falls.  Music and dancing were a big part of her life and she also loved animals.  Those who knew her will remember her as a real showstopper and for her never-ending willingness to be someone who could be depended on.  Jean was the type of mother and grandmother that was always there to help, support, laugh, play and listen.  Her main goal in life was to care for her family and everything she did revolved around loving and helping them. 

Jean was predeceased by her parents, Salvatore and Frances Alberti; and her sister, Rosalie Hughes.  She is survived by her daughter, Gina Dugo and her husband, Larry; son, Frank Sclafani and his wife, Diana; and grandchildren, Frankie Sclafani, Tommy Sclafani, Lawrence Dugo and his wife, Alexis and Juliana Dugo and her fiancé, Matthew Cerniglia.
