Obituary of Miguel Guillen Morfin

Miguel Guillen Morfin, 83, of Wrightstown passed away at home on Thursday, July 18, 2024. He was born and raised in Mexico and came to the United States at the age of 17 settling in New Jersey.  Miguel was a hardworking laborer who dedicated his life to providing for his family. He was known to everyone as a father figure, always offering guidance and support to those around him. Miguel had a passion for farming and spent many hours tending to his crops and farm animals. It brought him great joy to work with his hands and be close to nature.

He is predeceased by his wife, Maria Morfin; and daughter, Consuelo Cruz. Miguel is survived by his children, Ernestina Guillen, Anita Salgado, Miguel Guillen, Jesus Guillen, Refugio Guillen, Isabel Lueza and Guadalupe Ibarra; twenty grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; siblings, Guadalupe Guillen, Hector Guillen, Vincente Morfin, Ruben Morfin and David Guillen; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 12:00 PM Funeral Mass at St. Ann's Church, 22 Trenton Road, Browns Mills. Interment will follow in the Church of The Assumption Cemetery, 76 New Egypt Allentown Road, New Egypt.
