Obituary of Frances Pezzei

Frances Pezzei, 93, of Lincroft passed away at home on Friday, July 12, 2024.  Prior to retiring, she worked as a secretary at National Starch and Chemical Co. in Plainfield.  Frances was skilled in all types of needlework, enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and was an avid reader.  A loving wife and mother, her most treasured role was as “Nanny”.

Frances was predeceased by her husband, Walter Pezzei; and son-in-law, Gregory Peterson.  She is survived by two daughters, Susan Buckley and her husband, John and Carolyn Peterson; and her grandchildren, Caroline Buckley and her fiancé, Mitchell Kelly, Jillian Buckley, Connor Peterson, and Ryan Peterson. 

Visitation will be held at the Claton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road  (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be private.  For information, directions or to leave condolence messages for the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
