Obituary of Manuel A. Dios

Manuel A. Dios, 93, of Jackson passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024. He was born and raised in Jersey City, lived in Cliffwood Beach for ten years, and spent some time living in Manalapan and Freehold before settling in Jackson in 2021.  A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he was also a member of the Freehold Marine Corps League and a volunteer of Toys for Tots.  Manuel wore many hats, literally and figuratively.  He was known for his kindness and generosity.  Manuel’s greatest treasure was his family and they made him the happiest man. 

 

Manuel was predeceased by his son, David; nephew, Mark; grandson, Scott; and his sister, Rosemary.  He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Elaine Dios; children, Theresa Ensminger, Alan Worman, Anthony Dios, Joel Worman, Michael Worman and Randi Frank; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Ann Todd.

 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.  Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold Township.
