Obituary of Concetta "Chetta" "Connie" Sirianni

Concetta “Chetta” “Connie” Sirianni, 94, of Jackson passed away at her niece’s home on Friday, January 5, 2024.  She was born in Belleville and had lived in East Brunswick and Old Bridge prior to moving to Jackson in the late 90s.  Connie worked in the claims department for Consolidated Mutual Insurance Company in Brooklyn prior to retiring in 1992.  She took great pride in the home that she built.  Connie loved traveling with her late husband and spending quality time and holidays with all her family. She enjoyed doing word-find puzzles and watching Turner classic movies. 

Connie was predeceased by her husband, Peter Sirianni; sisters, Dolores Passarelli and her husband, Vincent, and Marie Sprella; and brother, Joseph DeLorenzo and his wife, Anna.  She is survived by her brother, Ernest DeLorenzo and his wife, Marlene;  nieces and nephews, Rose Passarelli Policari and her companion, John Peacock, Patrick Passarelli and his wife, Vanessa, Kenneth Passarelli and his wife, Noel, Janice Festa and her husband, Louis, Joseph DeLorenzo and his wife, Marianne, Maria Korpos and her husband, Donald, Cheryl Yannuzzelli and her husband, Gino, Thomas DeLorenzo and his husband, Scott Striegel; great nieces and nephews, Nicholas Policari and his fiancé, Jared Bellaran, Jacqueline Policari and her companion, Joseph Napoliello, Gytano Passarelli and his wife, Victoria, Samantha Passarelli, Kenneth Passarelli, Jr., Danielle Lincoln, Christopher Korpos, Kenneth DeLorenzo, Joanna DeLorenzo, Diana DeLorenzo, Briana Yannuzzelli, Cara Yannuzzelli, and Nicholas Yannuzzelli; great great nieces, Valen Noel Passarelli, Volare Maria Passarelli, Athena Lincoln; and many loving cousins, the Polcari’s and the Geraffo’s and all their children and grandchildren, and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson.  Interment will follow in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.  For those who desire, memorial contributions in Connie’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  For information, directions or to leave condolence messages for the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
