Obituary of Michaele Carroll

Michaele Carroll, 50, of Howell passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold.  She was born and raised in Lakewood and lived in Staten Island and East Brunswick before settling here.  Michaele’s top priority was her family.  She adored her children and never let them forget it.  Michaele’s favorite holiday was Christmas; all who knew her will remember the joy she took in decorating for this time of year and the joy she always aimed to bring to others. 

Michaele was predeceased by her father, Victor Chillemi, as well as many aunts, uncles, and extended family members.  She is survived by her husband, William “Andy” Carroll of Howell; three children, Brielle, Damion and Jason Carroll of Howell; parents, Genevieve Anderson and her husband, Charles of Freehold; siblings, Dina Roberts of Edwardsville, PA, Charles Anderson of Jackson, Andy Anderson and his wife, Lauren of Lincroft, Victoria Noon and her husband, DJ of South Amboy, and her best friend and quasi-adoptive sister, Cheryl Shuberda and her husband, Joe of Las Vegas, NV; father in law and mother in law, Bill and Beth Carroll of Long Valley; siblings in law Beth Anne Dimitrios of Flanders, Matthew Carroll and his wife, Melissa of Bar Harbor, ME, and Brian Carroll and his wife, Erica of Fair Banks, AL; the Chillemi family; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  Friends and family are invited to attend her 10:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday, December 28, 2023 followed by a repast at 11:30 AM at The American Hotel in Freehold.  For those who desire, memorial contributions in Michaele’s name may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, Inc, 1016 West Jackson Boulevard #1073, Chicago, IL 60607.
