Obituary of Kwai So Tai

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kwai So Tai on June 9, 2023. She was known by many as “A Màh (阿嫲) or MàhMàh (嫲嫲).” Born in 1928, Kwai So lived a long, fulfilling life full of love and cherished memories.

Kwai So was an incredibly compassionate and selfless individual, deeply devoted to her family. Her kindness and warm-hearted nature were the bedrock of her family’s foundation, leaving a legacy of love and strength. She had touched the lives of countless people and moved so many with her selfless acts to build a better life.

Kwai So is survived by her beloved son and daughter-in-law; daughter and son-in-law; seven grandchildren and their spouses; ten great-grandchildren; three brothers and their spouses; two sisters and their spouses; and many nieces and nephews. They will continue to carry her spirit with them. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 10:30 to 12:00 PM.  Interment will take place in Marlboro Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum 361 Highway 79, Morganville, NJ 07751.For those who desire, contributions in memory of Kwai may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). https://givenow.lls.org.
