Obituary of Marie Murdy

MARIE MURDY, 81, of HOWELL, died Saturday, Jan. 19, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Newark and had lived in Hazlet before moving to Howell over 40 years ago. Mrs. Murdy loved her garden and working in her yard. She was also an avid photographer. She was predeceased by her husband, John G., on Jan. 3, 2008; and a daughter, Sheila Cornelius, in 1990. Surviving are a son, Russell Murdy of Point Pleasant; two daughters, Eileen Spencer of Manalapan, and Donna Annunziata of Jackson; and three grandchildren. Visiting hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with funeral services at 8 p.m. at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township.
