Obituary of Margaret E. Goffe

Margaret E. Goffe, 73, of Howell Township passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, December 30, 2022. Marge was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio and came to New Jersey in 1985 settling in Howell Township. In 2018, she retired as a cafeteria Aide for the Howell Township Board of Education, mainly working at the Griebling Elementary School. Marge was a life member of the Adelphia Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her son, Michael J. Goffe and a sister, Mary Zavala. Marge is survived by her husband, William J. Goffe; a daughter, Patricia Rudolph and her husband, Scott of Lakewood; a granddaughter, Jessica; and a sister, Marie Rymers and her husband, Tom of Michigan. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with her funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM.
