Obituary of Glenn J. Kelson

Glenn J. Kelson, 60, of Freehold Township passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  He was born in Rahway, raised in Marlboro and settled in Freehold Township in 1990.  He worked as the Director of Communications for Allianz, NYC and prior to that had worked for AXA Equitable, NYC.  Glenn was a familiar face at the fields having coached Little League Baseball and Freehold Soccer.  He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Mets and Giants.  Glenn was a family man at heart and loved his wife and sons more than anything. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Audrey Kelson. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Carol Di Vito Kelson; and his four sons, Daniel Kelson of Washington, DC, Joseph Kelson of Freehold Township, Michael Kelson of Freehold Township and Thomas Kelson of Freehold Township; brother-in-law, Kenneth Di Vito of Philadelphia, PA; sister-in-law, Susan Felicia and her husband, Joe of Lubbock, TX; and two nephews, Joey and Vincent. 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM with his funeral service to follow at 10:30 AM.  Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold Township.  For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  For information, directions or to leave condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
