Obituary of Taeko Ebisumoto Dangler

Taeko Ebisumoto Dangler, 93, of Freehold Township passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Bella Terra Assisted Living, Jackson.  She was born in Kubo-Cho, Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, raised in Shimonoseki City, and had lived in North Carolina and Southern California before settling here in 1974.  Taeko was incredibly proud of taking the Oath of Allegiance and becoming a United States citizen in 1964.  She was a seamstress by trade and in her spare time she enjoyed quilting, sewing and doll-making.  Taeko loved cooking, gardening and playing Bingo.  Her family meant everything to her and she was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.   

Taeko is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Joseph Dangler; sons, Joseph Dangler, Jr. and his wife, Kim, Chuck Dangler and his wife, Beth, Bob Dangler and his wife, Maria, and Mike Dangler; and grandchildren, Heather, Joseph, Lucas, Becky, Abby, Sonja, Casey and Zack.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 3:00 PM Committal Service on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent Road, Manalapan.  For information, directions or to leave condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
