Mark Gotta

Obituary of Mark Joseph Gotta

Mark J. Gotta, 59, of Howell, died on Friday, August 19, 2022 at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA with his beloved wife and children at his side.  Mark was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL and his family eventually settled in Woodbridge.  He attended Woodbridge Township High School and Rutgers University, graduating cum laude with a degree in Management and Labor Relations.

Mark enjoyed a career spanning more than 20 years in business research and innovation, having been most recently employed by Spyglass360, LLC.  He held strong relationships with coworkers old and new, bringing his expertise, humor, and charisma with him anywhere he went.

A cinephile at heart, Mark enjoyed bonding with friends and family over films, shows, and popular culture, often pulling quotes and references out of his hat.  Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends whether it was skydiving with his father, taking a long motorcycle ride, or practicing marksmanship.

Mark was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Helen Gotta.  He is survived by his Katie, his devoted wife of 25 years, daughter Casey and son Ryan, his brother, Michael (Miriam), his sister Linda (Pat), and beloved niece Nicole Gilliken.  Also left to mourn his loss are his mother-in-law, June Hendricks, dozens of in-laws and nieces and nephews from the Gotta, Selsky, and Hendricks families, as well as a host of cherished friends Mark made and kept along the way.
