Obituary of Lidia M. Zemlanicky

Lidia M. Zemlanicky, 97, of Spring Lake Heights passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 14, 2022.  Lidia was born and raised in Russia and had lived in Austria before coming to the United States in 1950.  She settled in Newark and had lived in Hillside before retiring to Spring Lake Heights thirty years ago.  Lidia was a line worker for Burry Biscuits, Elizabeth.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother and great grandmother.

Lidia was predeceased by her husband, Feodor; two brothers, and a sister.  She is survived by four children, Walter Zemlanicky and his wife, Audrey of Oak Ridge, Fred Zemlanicky of Jackson, Tamara Economou of Brick, and Lidia Zemlanicky and her husband, Michael Vlachos of Glen Ridge; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Pannyhida will be held at St. Alexander Nevsky R.O. Cathedral, 200 Alexander Avenue, Howell, NJ on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 6:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Service at the Cathedral on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.  Interment will follow in St. Vladimir R.O.
