Obituary of Adrienne Desio

Adrienne Desio, 93, of Freehold passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold.  Adrienne was born and raised in the Bronx.  She had lived in Hackensack and raised her family in Maywood before moving to Freehold twenty years ago to be closer to her daughter.  She retired from Myron Manufacturing in 2000.  Adrienne took great pleasure in retail therapy and watching QVC.  She was an artist and painter and relished in her time on the beach.  A social butterfly, Adrienne had many dear friends, but family was always first and being Grandma, Nanny, and GiGi was the most important thing to her. 

Adrienne was predeceased by her husband, Joseph and a sister, Joyce.  She is survived by her three children, Graceanne Hines and her husband, Michael of Houston, TX, Jay Desio of Wisconsin and Alisa Perigane and her husband, John of Freehold; eight grandchildren, Lori, Chris, Michael, Matthew, Joey, twins, Gabrielle and Alexa, and Gianna; nine great grandchildren, Olivia, Sierra, Joseph, Jacob, Abby, Michael, Scarlett, Charlotte, and Adalyn, and a brother, Alan Areman of Freehold Township.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Service at the funeral home on Friday, May 20, 2022 with an Entombment to follow.
