Obituary of Evelyn M. Lewis

EVELYN M. LEWIS, 82, of HOWELL, died Friday, Jan. 4, at home, with her loving son at her side. Mrs. Lewis was born in Edwardsville, Pa. and had lived in Parlin and Laurence Harbor before moving to Howell in 1962. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Dayton E., in December 2007. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Dayton E. and Barbara Lewis of Howell; five grandchildren, Michelle, Laura, Bonnie, Kimberly, and Brian; two great-grandchildren, Josh and Logan; and a sister, Carol Superak of Staten Island, N.Y. Visiting hours will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Rev. Dan Brindley officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
