Obituary of Dolores Passarelli

Dolores Passarelli, 91, of Freehold passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and had lived in Old Bridge, NJ and settled to Surrey Downs in Freehold, NJ for over 20 years. Dolores was a devoted parishioner of the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine. She thoroughly enjoyed cooking, her friends and mahjongg, which brought her family together. She took great pride in the fact that her home was notoriously spotless. Dolores was the owner of Deli-Delite, alongside her late husband, Vincent Passarelli, for over 30 years. It was the first Italian specialty deli in New Jersey. Above all, Dolores was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent Passarelli; and sister, Marie. Dolores is survived by her children, Pat Passarelli and his wife, Vanessa of Arizona, Ken Passarelli and his wife, Noel of Jackson, and Rose Passarelli of Jackson; grandchildren, Gytano and his wife, Victoria, Samantha, Kenny Jr., Nicholas, and Jacqueline; great granddaughter, Valen; and siblings, Joe DeLorenzo, Connie Siriani, and Ernie DeLorenzo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 12:00 PM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township on Friday, January 28, 2022.
