Obituary of Joseph D'Arrigo

Joseph J. D’Arrigo, 71, of Howell Township passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.  Joseph was born, raised and had lived his whole life in Brooklyn before moving to Howell Township in 2019 to be with his family.  He retired as a electrician of Local #3 IBEW, NYC for Atlas Acon Electric, NYC with 13 years of dedicated service.  Prior to that, Joseph was the owner of T.V. Man Incorporated and worked throughout New York City, which led him to develop his love for fixing T.V.’s and old radios.  He was a fan of NASCAR especially drivers, Jeff Gordon (24) and Jimmie Johnson (48).  Joseph was a member and past president of the Kiwanis International of Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge (Ben-Bay), Brooklyn.  Yet, spending time with his family is all that he cared about. 

Joseph is survived by his two children, Danielle Santos and her husband, Manny of Freehold and Joe D’Arrigo and his wife, Caroline of Freehold; four grandchildren, Danica, Manny, Jr., Joey, and Maria; and his former wife, Joanne Costantino and her husband, Vinny.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 9:30 AM for the procession to his 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township, NJ 07728.  Interment will private.  For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Kiwanis International of Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge (Ben-Bay) HERE.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com.
