Obituary of Timothy Campbell

Timothy F. Campbell, 74 of Howell passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 22, 2021. He was born and raised in Staten Island, lived in Farmingdale, Freehold, and Belmar, and settled in Howell in 1985. Timmy protected and served as a Lieutenant in the Freehold Borough Police Department for 25 years. He was a talented musician and played with the Staten Island Law Men, Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights, Sunrisers, Hawthorne Caballeros, and the Skyliner Alumni. He was extremely handy and took great pride in improving and maintaining his house. Timmy found great solace in the outdoors camping and fishing or taking his Harley Davidson out for a ride. He was passionate about raising awareness for autism research and participated in fundraising and events. Timmy was well loved and respected by his community and many friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Donna Campbell; his two daughters, Laura Campbell of Ocean Gate; and Christie Kaplan and her husband, Bruce of Freehold Township; seven grandchildren, Andrew and his wife, Gianella; Kayla and her fiancé, Daniel; David and his wife, Elizabeth; Hailey, Jason, Matthew, and John; and his three great grandchildren, Audrey, Ameila, and Cassandra; his brothers, Richard Campbell, and Douglas Campbell and his wife, Terry; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
