Obituary of Barbara A. Wilson

Barbara Ann Wilson, 81, of Manchester, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Bartley Healthcare & Rehabilitation, Jackson, NJ. Barbara was born in, raised and had lived in Freehold before moving to Manchester, NJ last year. She was a graduate of St. Rose of Lima School and Freehold Regional High School. Barbara also attended and received her certificate in computer programming. Prior to raising her family, she was a secretary at the Central Jersey Bank, Freehold, NJ. Barbara was a former parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Freehold.

She was predeceased by her son, Robert Wilson. Barbara is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Wilson Jr.; two sisters, Patricia Hermance of Brooksville, FL, and Loretta Jablonski and her husband, Walter of North Little Rock, AR; two daughters, Bonnie Alexander and her husband Brian, of Jackson, NJ, and Beth Wilson of Whiting, NJ; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Alexander, Devin and Paige Dougherty, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 12:00 PM funeral service at the funeral home on Monday, July 19, 2021. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold.
