Obituary of Charles Michael McCarthy

Charles Michael McCarthy “Mike”,71, of Bradley Beach passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.  Mike was born and raised in Long Branch and had lived in Asbury Park for a short period of time before settling in Bradley Beach in 1972.  An avid read, Mike also enjoyed metal detecting on the beach and he was a black belt in Judo.

Mike was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Selina McCarthy.  He is survived by his partner of 49 years, Linda Kaufman of Bradley Beach; Daughter Donna Rosato and her husband John of Jackson; Grandchildren, Marissa Rosato and Ian Rosato of Jackson; And a Sister, Barbara Rutherford of Port Orange, Florida.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
