Condolences
So sorry to hear about the loss of Billy Ryan. Sincere condolences to his remaining family. Also sad to see that his eldest child, son Patrick O'Malley is not mentioned at all in this, or any other obituary I have read in the memory of William J. Ryan. Peace to all of you.
Dear Michele, Megan and Kristen.
I am so sorry for your loss. I am still only around the corner if I can do anything to lessen your pain. I will be making a donation to Bill W in Billy's name.
Sincerely,
Melanie Moore
I am really going to miss you at our Thursday night JAM on the hill and just as important at our FRIENDS OF BILL get togethers.
And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make.

I will always remember Billy from early days touring with the Big Man and on through the years. We shared a lot of laughs I made some good music together. My deepest condolences to you, Michelle, and to your daughters.
Smooth sailin’, old friend!
Condolences to all his Family and friends. I've known Billy for many years and had the pleasure of working with him during the course of our lifetimes, Rest in peace my friend I'll miss friendship, artistry, and humor. Jack McCurry
Gina, Joanne, Peggy, Nancy and Jay my thoughts and prayers are with you. Over the last couple of years I got to know Billy well a kind, generous and wonderful man with an great soul.
I have two very fond memories of my short time knowing Billy.
The first was just the two of us in his family room playing acoustic guitar. Billy was already playing Friday night gigs in high school when I first picked one up. We discovered that we both had an affinity with the Rev. Gary Davis, a gospel blues musician whose songs many folk artists of the 60's covered.
The second was just the two of us visiting at the memory care home our mother was living in a little while before she passed away. We sat on a bench outside her group gathering room and just talked for what seemed like several hours. We could talk about anything.
Billy was a true one-of- a-kind. Whatever he put his hands or mind to always ended up a work of art. Among the many things I will miss are his sharp wit and intellect. To all of his family, Michele, Meghan, and Kristen, I mourn with you, may you find solace in the memories you share. As his friend, I will never forget the times we had together. I was fortunate to have known him.
Michelle, Meghan and Kristen, My heartfelt thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow. May your love and memories carry you through as he makes his trip Home to be with our Lord. My prayers are with you all. The memories you have shared will comfort all that he has touched through his journey and adventure in his life. Stay strong knowing his love will always be with you. Hugs, Momma Kane
