Obituary of Angela O'Sullivan

Angela O’Sullivan, 87, of Jackson passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Bartley Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Jackson.  Angela was born, raised and had lived in Neptune Township before moving to Wall Township in 1970.  She moved to Brick Township in the mid 1980’s until settling in the Orchards at Bartley, Jackson in 2019.  Angela worked as a bookkeeper for J.C.P. & L. in Allenhurst and met a young man, named Edward there.  She then married this man and started her career as a fulltime mom.  Along with her husband, Angela owned and operated Stout & O’Sullivan Electrical Construction in Farmingdale until there retirement.  She was a devout catholic and was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Asbury Park and Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Neptune.  Angela volunteered in Bradley Beach at the food pantry, enjoyed murder mystery books and shows, relished in a good word search puzzle, and had a passion for collection tea pots. Yet, being with family and friends was what she loved to do most of all.

Angela was predeceased by her husband, Edward; son, Andrew; son-in-law, Paul Spampanato; and brother, Ludwig “Louie” DePrisco.  She is survived by her children, Joann Spampanato of Farmingdale, Brian O’Sullivan of Ocean Township; and Mark O’Sullivan and his wife, Catarina of Dallas, GA; five grandchildren, Catrina Tice and her husband, Danny, Stephanie Reiff and her husband, Rob, Andrew Spampanato and his girlfriend, Gina, Cole O’Sullivan, and Michael O’Sullivan; four great-grandchildren, Julia, Jeremy, Cooper, and Harleigh; and a sister-in-law, Doris DePrisco of Neptune.
