William Lloyd

Obituary of William Andrew Lloyd

Devoted husband and father, William A. Lloyd (53), passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 5, 2021. He bravely fought a nearly 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer, with a quiet fortitude and reliance on his love for the Lord. Fondly known to many as Bill, Billy, or just “Jr.”, he made a lasting impact on everyone he met, from his business and church community to his friends and family.

At 16 years old, Bill met the love of his life, Kelly, at Freehold Township High School. At every step of the way, she supported him as he built Aggressive Mechanical Contractors into a thriving HVAC company relied on by many in the community. When he wasn’t managing the family business, he poured his heart into his family and children and all of their pursuits. Fatherhood was a deep joy. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, with a love for travel, good food, and the outdoors. Bill was also passionate about music, a love he shared with his daughters. He was patient and kind, a trusted friend, generous in everything, and he fiercely loved his wife and children.

Bill’s greatest hope was that people would see his love for the Lord. He was one of the great ones and will be dearly missed.

Isaiah 43:2

“When you pass through the waters,

    I will be with you;

and when you pass through the rivers,

    they will not sweep over you.

When you walk through the fire,

    you will not be burned;

    the flames will not set you ablaze.”

Bill is survived by his wife of 29 years and high school sweetheart, Kelly (Cahoon). Together, they have four children - Christopher (Kristen), Callie, Cullen and Cayla. He is also survived by mother, Ann (Bernie); father, Bill Sr.; sister, Michelle; and grandmothers, Irene and Henrietta.
