Obituary of Jean Squitieri

Jean Squitieri, 94, of Howell passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Care One at Holmdel. She was born and raised in Elizabeth and lived in Linden before moving to Freehold in 1994. Jean lived in Freehold for 15 years before settling to Cross Roads Howell and Care One Holmdel. She worked as a Telephone Operator and in Billing for NJ Bell in Elizabeth, and as a Piece Worker for RCA in Rahway. Jean also retired from Maidenform in Edison. She was a member of the Howell Senior Center, a parishioner at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, Freehold, and a former member of Silvermead Community Club. Jean loved music, dancing, and movies. Above all things, her greatest joy was being a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and spending quality time with her family.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Laskodi in 1984; and second husband Louis Squitieri in 2004. Jean is survived by her sons, James Laskodi and his wife, Suzanne of Union, KY, and Robert Laskodi and his wife, Patricia of Howell; grandchildren, Jimmy Laskodi and his fiance Traci, Jessica Olsen and her husband, Kevin, Matthew Laskodi and his wife, Christine, and Benjamin Laskodi and his fiance Ashley; great grandchildren, Ryan and Penelope; step children, Eleanor Fusco and her husband, Dan, Danielle Moore and her husband, Edward, and Allie Fusco; and step grandchildren, Gabrielle Moore, Danny Moore, and Travis Fusco.
