Obituary of Paulina Stavola

Paulina Stavola, 82, of Freehold passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at CentraState Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born and raised in White Plains, New York, and lived in Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Spring Hill, Florida before settling in Freehold in 1994. Paulina met her husband Jim in December 1958 at the Park Sheraton Hotel in New York City at a Christmas party, and they later married on December 6, 1959. Paulina and Jim enjoyed trips to Italy and Cape May. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and she enjoyed cooking for her family, as well as shopping for them.

Paulina is survived by her husband of 61 years, James Stavola of Freehold; one son, James Stavola III and his wife Jennifer of Manorville, New York; one daughter, Rose Anne Curry and her husband Edward of Marlboro; four grandchildren who she adored, Melanie, Erin, Julia, and Jake; one sister, Maria Feery; two brothers Benedetto and Luigi Paganelli, and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed.
