Obituary of Heather Jean Glovich

Heather Jean Glovich (Janin), 45, of Freehold passed away peacefully on Monday, November 23, 2020 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Plainfield, she was raised in Piscataway and Middlesex before finally settling in Freehold where she met her devoted husband of only 7 too short years, Alexander Anthony Glovich, Jr.

A graduate of Middlesex High School, Heather continued her education at Rutgers University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Medieval Studies and Fairleigh Dickinson where she received her Master’s in Education – Literacy / Reading Specialist. Heather shared her passion for education, history, especially of the medieval era, and reading with her students in the Freehold Intermediate School where she taught for many years touching countless lives in the process.

She was predeceased by her mother, Jeanette Bivona; and her father, Bradford C.E. Janin. In addition to her loving husband, Heather is survived by her son, Joseph John Mikucki III, and daughter, Bridget Leigh Glovich both of Freehold; sisters, Kimberly Farley, Nicole Medina and her husband, Michael of South Plainfield, and Stephanie Mota and her husband, Steve of South Plainfield; brothers-in-law Daniel Glovich of Freehold and Christopher Glovich and his wife Regena of Chapel Hill, TN. Additionally, she is survived by nieces and nephews, Nathan, Ray, Eli, Bella, Kayla, Brandon, Nicholas, Angelina, Scarlett, and Lillian, as well as her aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

 Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold Township.
