Obituary of Clara Angiulo

Clara Angiulo, 81, loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, and aunt, of Howell, NJ, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Care One of Holmdel. The daughter of the late Dominick and Ida (Taddeo) Pascarelli. She was born and raised in Manhattan and lived for over thirty-five years in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx. She worked for the New York City Department of Education. Clara enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City, bowling, playing Bingo, watching Judge Judy, spending time with her family, and reminiscing about the old days.

Clara was predeceased by her one and only love, husband Frank “Sonny” Angiulo in 1985; sister, Carmela and husband Thomas Mayr; sister-in-laws Angelina and husband Dave Siano, Nicolina and husband Vincenzo DiLorenzo; brother-in-laws, Anthony and wife Ann Angiulo, and Nicholas Angiulo. 

Clara leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two adoring daughters, Roseann and her husband Joseph Corsentino, and Nicole and her husband Peter Ficorelli. Her greatest joys were her seven grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Jessica, Joseph, Peter, Christian, Nico, and Nicolette. G-Ma, as she was known to her beloved grandchildren, will be missed beyond measure. Clara is also survived by her devoted sister, Mary Pascarelli, sister-in-law Helen Angiulo, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at St. Frances de Chantal Church, 190 Hollywood Avenue, Bronx, NY 10465.  Entombment will take place in St. Raymond New Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx, NY 10465.
