Obituary of June Carol Schoeneick

June Carol Schoeneick, 81, of Jackson passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 17, 2020. She was born in Jersey City and had lived in Harrison and Irvington before settling in Jackson thirty years ago. June was a homemaker and also worked with her husband for many years in their cleaning business. She enjoyed shopping and day trips. June loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. June will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Schoeneick; sister, Dorothy Palumbo; brothers-in-law, Robert Palumbo and Eddie Buehler; and sister-in-law, Lynn Elmquist.  June is survived by two daughters, Donna Klein and her husband, Michael of Brick, and Debra Reynolds and her husband Bill of Howell; five grandchildren, Kristin Meroni of Brick, Ericka McCurnin and her husband, Kenny of Ledgewood, Matthew Klein and his fiancée, Gabrielle Dawe of Ocean, Kimberley Estremera and her husband, Julian of Freehold  and Sami  Reynolds of Howell; four great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jackson, Cooper and Wesley; and siblings, Eleanor Buehler, Rudy Elmquist and his wife, Pat, Walter Elmquist and George Elmquist and his wife, Jennie. 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private services will be held for immediate family members only on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM.  Relatives and friends are invited to participate at 10:30 via webcast through the Funeral Home website.  Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.  All arrangements are under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
