Obituary of Michael Miron

Michael Miron, 82, of Freehold passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He was born in Pinsk, Poland, came to the United States in 1951, moved to South River, and settled in Freehold about 50 years ago. Michael bravely served for the United States Army. He worked as an Electrical Supervisor for the Middlesex County Road Department for many years. Michael was a Commander of the South River Boat Club as well as a Union President for Knitting Mills. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Kimberly Markulin; and his brother, Victor Mironowcz. Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Ann Miron of Freehold; a sister, Lidia Krug and her husband, Michael of Upstate, NY; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private services were held for the immediate family. All arrangements are under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
