Obituary of Marie Feraco

Marie Feraco, 83, of Manalapan, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, in the Dyker Heights Neighborhood. She worked at the federal reserve bank of NY then the NYS DMV as a supervisor, and later as a road test inspector. During this time, she became the first woman in the Borough of Brooklyn to administer a road test. She later worked as a Senior Court Analyst in the Brooklyn Supreme Court for a total 30 years. Also a devoted member of the making strides against breast cancer walk, Marie retired in the year 2000 and settled in Freehold in 2011. Marie was an amazing cook and enjoyed traveling with her friends and family. She also enjoyed music and watching the Yankees with her sisters and grandsons. She was a parishioner at Regina Pacis Church for many years and then the Co-Cathedral St. Robert Bellarmine. Above all, she was a devoted family woman and had tremendous pride in her close-knit and loving family.

She was predeceased by her parents, Pasquale and Frances Feraco. Marie is survived by her daughter, Mary Frances Terranova and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Michael and Nicholas Terranova; siblings, Angelo Feraco and his wife, Joan of Brooklyn NY, Loretta Argiro & Dolores of Staten Island, Helen Feraco of Brooklyn, and Linda Caristo of Jackson; lifelong friend Barbara Delfino and Godson Frank Delfino of North Carolina; goddaughters, Mary Ellen Volpicella and her husband, Joe of Staten Island, Diane Schaefer and her husband, Brad of Westfield, and Gina Giuffe and her husband, Rob of Staten Island; nieces and nephews, Debra & husband Tony, Lori & Rita, Vincent, Dean, Vanessa, James, Dina & her husband Anthony, and Jacquline and her husband Raul and all of their their children and many loving cousins.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Entombment will be private.
