Obituary of Eufrosina Bondarew

Eufrosina Bondarew, 100, of Howell passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2020. She was born in Ukraine, moved to Freehold in 1956, and finally settled in Howell. Eufrosina attended St. George R.O. Church and was a member of the choir, and was later a member of St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Howell. She enjoyed gardening, especially growing fresh tomatoes and pickles. Eufrosina could be found sewing and cooking in her spare time. She was a housekeeper for many famillies in the area.  Above all, Eufrosina was passionate about spending time with her great grandkids.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gregory M. Bondarew. Eufrosina is survived by her son, Nickolas Bondarew and his wife, Gail of Howell; two grandchildren, Nicholas A. Bondarew and his wife, Jennifer of Howell, and Dawn Rudisky and her husband, Kevin of Howell; and great grandchildren, Tyler, Alexander, Nicole, Hailey, and Madison.

Pannyhida will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 5:20 PM at St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, 200 Alexander Avenue, Howell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM funeral service on Monday, March 9, 2020 at the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Interment will be private.
