Obituary of Philip A. Fahy

Philip A. Fahy, 59, of Freehold Township passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.  He was born in Brooklyn and had lived in Union City before settling in Freehold Township in 1992.  Philip worked as a Union City Police Officer for 29 years, retiring in 2013 and was a member of the Union City PBA Local #8.  He enjoyed watching movies and was devoted to his family.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his children. 

Philip was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Genieve Fahy.  He is survived by his children, Ian Fahy and his wife, Lauren of Hamilton, Konnor Fahy of Freehold Township, and Lauren Fahy of Freehold Township. 

A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 3:00 to 6:30 PM with his memorial service to follow at 6:30 PM.  Interment will be private.
