Obituary of Natividad V. Pasquariello

Natividad V. “Natty” Pasquariello, 86, of Freehold Township passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

A resident of Freehold Township, Natty was born and raised in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, and had lived in San Juan, Queens, NY and Paterson, NJ.  Natty was a dressmaker and pattern maker engineer, and had worked for Evan Picone and Etienne Aigner to name a few.  Her talent knew no bounds, and her children and grandchildren were truly blessed to have her design and create holiday clothing and wedding gowns.  A woman of many talents, she was also a tremendous cook and the fruits of her labor were loved by all.

A longtime active parishioner and a daily mass attendee of the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, Natty was a greeter at the 10:00 AM Mass on Sundays and participated with the Linen Ministry.  She volunteered her time for the Caregivers of Monmouth County, Freehold Area Open Door and the Jim Benedict Lunch Program at St. Peter’s Church.  Her passion for life touched all who knew her, especially her grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as “Vieja”.  Natty knew how to have fun and enjoyed lunch and shopping excursions with her church ladies group.  Her beautiful smile and gentle warmth will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John P. Pasquariello in 2015; and several brothers and sisters.  Natty leaves behind to mourn her passing daughters, Marifeli Rucker and her husband, Robert of Freehold Township, Gelitza Smalley and her husband, Glendon of Wilmington, DE; her sons, Felix Estremera and his wife, Linda of Colonia, and Frank J. Estremera and his wife, Carmen of Freehold Township; stepchildren, Joseph Pasquariello and his wife, Susan of Mahwah, and Linda Enright and her husband, Greg  of Monroe, NY; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; siblings, Haydee Toro and Carlos Velez, both of Puerto Rico; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.  Natty will be interred with her husband, John in Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery in a private service at a later date.  Due to cemetery restrictions, remembrances in her name to the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine would be appreciated.
