Obituary of Patricia Ann Farrell

Patricia Ann Farrell, 76, of Old Bridge passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.  She was born and raised in the Bronx and had lived in Matawan and Jackson before settling in Old Bridge in 1999.  Pat worked as an administrative assistant at AT&T in Holmdel for 30 years, retiring in 2006.  She was a parishioner of the Church of St. Veronica in Howell.  Pat was a member of the Quit Guild and loved to sew, knit, and crochet. She was a world traveler and liked to spend time on Broadway at the theater. Pat always enjoyed a game of cards and hot cup of tea.

Pat was predeceased by her husband, John Farrell in 1986.  She is survived by her children, Denise Hennessy of Howell and Michael Farrell of Eatontown; grandchildren, Morgan Hennessy of Belmar and Kerry Hennessy of Howell; and sisters, Maureen Fitterer of Florida and Barbara Jean Kerner of Georgia.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 3:30 to 7:30 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 8:30 AM for the procession to her 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Rt. 9 North, Howell. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Red Bank.  For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s name to the American Cancer Society, 2310 Route 34, Suite 1D, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
