Obituary of Angelo Frascino

Angelo Frascino, 86, of Jackson passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  He was born in the Bronx and was raised in Yonkers.  Angelo was the youngest licensed plumber in Westchester County and he proudly owned and operated Saw Mill Plumbing & Heating in Yonkers for over 50 years.  He was also the youngest president of the Kiwanis Club and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Yonkers.  Angelo proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  Along with his wife, he moved to the Metedeconk community in Jackson 8 years ago. He loved to shoot pool with his friends in the clubhouse and play chess with his grandson, Robert.  Angelo was a parishioner of the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, Freehold Township.  He was an adoring husband and kind-hearted man. Angelo was one of a kind and will be truly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Angelo was predeceased by his son, Peter Frascino in 1991.  He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Carol Frascino of Jackson; daughters, Barbara Frascino of Bradenton, Florida, Lisa Carroll of Stratford, Connecticut, and Tina Frascino of Bradenton, Florida; stepsons, Robert Freda and his wife, Claudine of Manalapan and Brian Freda and his wife, Kate of Estero, Florida; four grandchildren, Robert, Samantha, Patrick, and Robert; and Edward Frascino of Los Angeles, California.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.  A visitation will follow at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.  Interment will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kiwanis Children's Fund, P.O.
