Obituary of Lawrence J. Pullen, Jr.

Lawrence “Larry” J. Pullen, Jr., 67, of Jackson passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick.  He was born in Allentown, raised in Freehold Boro, and had lived in Howell before settling in Jackson in 1984.  Larry worked as a service advisor at T&T Coast Buick in Manasquan.  He previously bowled in the Men’s Friday Night League at Howell Lanes.  Larry along with his wife, Gerri, cherished their trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas. 

Larry was predeceased by his brother, Bruce Pullen.  He is survived by his wife of 48 and a ½ years, Gerri; children, Lawrence J. Pullen, III and his wife, Diana of Jackson, LaurieAnn Heath of Jackson, and Lisa Chakeres and her husband, John of Toms River; grandchildren, Thomas, Laura, Ava, and Gianna; stepmother, Irene Pullen of Toms River; brothers-in-law, Albert DeCandia and his wife, Gloria of Englishtown and Sam DeCandia of Freehold; sister-in-law, Diane Lind and her husband, Steven of Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 PM with his funeral service to follow at 8:30 PM.  Interment will be private.
